hip hop xxl magazine

In the July 2007 issue of XXL magazine article is not with rapper Rich Boy in which he addressed the issue of Hip-Hop models. Rich Boy well articulated his opinion that the role models for young people should not be rappers, athletes or other celebrities, but parents. In the article, Rich Boy spoke eloquently about how their parents are role models in his life and expressed the way by example that made all the difference in the way he has chosen to live his life.

The question of the roles of models and celebrities is not a new topic. In 1993, NBA legend Charles Barkley sparked controversy when he made a Nike commercial in which he stated: "I am not a role model." Of all the criticisms that hip-hop has become, almost from its inception, the strongest criticism is that Hip-Hop artists and other prominent figures within the culture are negative role models for youth.

Well, in answer to that, I ask

Who are the role models?

Now I love Hip-Hop. I grew much captivated by her as a grown man who still embrace much of it today. But I've never looked like the rappers necessarily role models. I think some inspiring music. I find their stories of inspiration. Those who have withdrawn themselves from the bottom to get to the summit are the epitome of the American dream, but that does not mean I'm ready for my life pattern of the lives and experiences of Hip-Hop.

I think the Listeners can learn a lot, good and bad experiences of the MCs. When Hip-Hop is the expression in his prime, can go a long way to make a difference in the lives of peoples. I firmly believe that. But parents, teachers, ministers, local business and community leaders should not leave the hands of parenting in hands of a rapper. Rap songs do not raise children, parents do. It seems that parents prefer to use Hip-Hop as a scapegoat for their own mistakes in the upbringing of their children responsibly.

I have no problem saying that MCs such as KRS-One, Chuck D and Ice Cube great influence on my thinking and belief system in the same way that my pastor at my church when I was a child. His rhymes about race, class, education, equality and so develop an awareness of these important issues in my own life. All said they did not take for granted like I take everything the preacher said from the pulpit as a fact. But as the minister, MCs challenge my perceptions and perspectives.

If the rhymes and actions of MCs has influenced some of my own thoughts and behavior, largely had to do with the fact that my father played no role in my life and so I looked at the others to give me guidance on how to advance the "room" which is the life. It is the responsibility of a father to raise her son, not a rapper. The void in my life that I felt for my father's absence was often occupied by not only the music of hip-hop, but also by a variety of people as the neighborhood "bad boys", Ministers, my uncles and others.

Parents should stop blaming Hip-Hop and everything else and begin to "take back" their homes. Greater role models in the life of each child must be a mom and dad. The problem is that in reality is that many parents in society that are the true negative role models.

rap music psychological effects

I work with at-risk youth, most of them are African American, and I often have to help them with homework. Help youth with homework can be very stressful at times because they get frustrated easily when they are unable to collect on quickly. What concepts I've learned about working with African American youth that traditionally will be easier to learn if they have a rhythm. So when I'm helping students with learning how to spell spelling words I use the pace of teaching. For example, I know that young people can enjoy the hip hop, so use hip hop to teach them to memorize the words spelling.

Tip # 1 make a Hip Hop song
1.Get young people to make a story out of his spelling words. Most likely, The story relates to their situation and are at their level.
2. That young people choose their favorite hip hop song. Make sure there is an instrumental version of the track
3. Allowing young people to rap your story and write the words of the pulse
4.If you are able to spell the words as they are would then hitting successfully learned how to spell the spelling words.
5.Sometimes might be needed more than one song.

Tip # 2 Play Double Dutch
When I have to help African-American girls with their written assignments, one of the things I do is teach to spell their words while they are jumping rope.Traditionally when they are jumping double Dutch to sing a song to the rhythm while jumping rope. Overall, girls and create a story using your spelling words and tell the story and spell words while they are jumping rope.

Council # 3 Play Superman
When I help younger children with their homework, I make learning less stressful, by holding your attention and pretend play Superman. Actually let young children put on a red cape and I a great big "S" on his chest using construction paper. I can help with learning their spelling words, claiming they are Superman and have to keep spelling words.

How To Play Superman

1. Write the spelling word on a flash card.
2.Pretend that the villain has taken the flash memory card. "Help me, help me Superman
3. Superman has to save the word in the flash memory card
4. Before Superman can save the words that he / she has to pronounce the word and write it.
5. When Superman is able to pronounce and spell the word, only then can Superman can save the word.

Assist youth with homework can be stressful, but it has to be. Helping children only require creativity and patience. If you want learning less stressful, you just have to figure out how to keep the attention of youth, and then to make learning interesting and fun.

Is metal music have a psychological effect on a person?

I realized people who listen to hip-hop and rap and R & B, and are very optimistic and outgoing calls. But people who listen to metal have more than one "I really do not care" attitude. (Including me) or any other type of music?

I agree and believe it. I realize people who listen to True Metal Underground have the attitude of "do not care" and appear to be independent, intelligent, and more than one person daring, exciting. But the mainstream metal Listeners fake I've ever known (from my experience) tend to be much trouble there and more a person's mind (since thats what major false Metal lyrics are about, anxiety). True Metal listeners seem to be intelligent, poetic in their writing assignments, and strong, smart people. One who does not care about trends and not afraid to be an individual, regardless of all the persecution he / she has to go. Now for the people who listen to Rap and Hip-Hop & R & B (which is about 98% of my school) seem to have the attitude and mentality of "I have to fit this new hot trend "and often seem to have a group mentality where they fight for fun, for no reason just to win" respect "from his friends to no good reasons. They are also often prone to jargon, most can not spell simple words correctly and appear to be failing at school. EDIT: I've also found some metal listeners seem to be more open minded people. The letters immoral (some bands) give them an introduction to not be judge mental if someone says something bad in life real than most people are not making moral or acceptable. Myself included. When, as listeners who listen to only Rock and Rap, Hip-Hop, R & B seem afraid to look and being allowed to really listen. Also, do not open-minded and do not consider things that do not understand the music (metal growls). Lol.
